In the Dnipropetrovsk region, law enforcement officials have successfully concluded a large-scale special operation to apprehend a group of individuals suspected of attacking a judge.

This was reported by the National Police.

According to the investigation, the crime was directly linked to the victim’s professional activities and was premeditated.

The incident occurred on March 13 in the Soborny district of the city of Dnipro. When the judge got out of her car, three men suddenly attacked her.

After inflicting bodily harm, the assailants quickly fled the scene in a vehicle.

To solve this brazen crime, the police conducted a series of complex investigative operations. Law enforcement officers managed to track down the suspected perpetrators, who turned out to be men aged 33 to 36.

As part of the investigation, 38 authorized searches were conducted in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.

Investigative actions took place at the suspects’ residences, as well as in their vehicles, where authorities searched for evidence of involvement in the crime.

Currently, the detainees have been officially notified of their status as suspects under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

These include attempted unlawful deprivation of liberty, violence against a judge, and hooliganism involving the use of weapons or other objects.

Investigators emphasize that the attack was intended to intimidate the judge due to her professional work.

Law enforcement officials are continuing the pre-trial investigation to identify not only the perpetrators but also the potential masterminds behind this attack.

As a reminder, a woman was detained in Obolon for setting fire to the doors of acquaintances.

Earlier, the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office filed an indictment against a family doctor who, for $6,000, promised to arrange a disability classification to allow a conscript to travel abroad.
