On the night of November 14, the occupiers carried out another terrorist attack on the capital of Ukraine. UA.News correspondents visited the site of the Russian drone's arrival in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv to see the consequences of the strike with their own eyes.

The enemy UAV hit an ordinary residential building on the outskirts of the capital. As a result of the strike and fire, apartments on six floors of a typical Kyiv high-rise building were destroyed.

Shards of glass are scattered everywhere, cracking loudly under the feet of rescuers and local residents, as well as construction debris. Residents of the house that was hit by the drone gather at the neighboring entrances, carrying their belongings in numerous bags and packages.

“The apartment is f***ed. It's completely burned out,” a local resident tells his neighbors calmly, finishing his cigarette. However, his hands are shaking slightly, betraying the real emotions hidden behind his calm tone.

The arrival happened in the middle of the night, when Kyiv residents were sleeping peacefully in their apartments. Near the house there is a school, a soccer field, an outpatient clinic, grocery stores and a market. There are no military installations or even energy infrastructure facilities nearby.

"I woke up even earlier when they started shooting. And then - bam! There was such a roar that the whole house shook. I thought: that's it! It's over! I listened as if I were alive. I quickly threw on a down jacket, ran outside, and the neighboring entrance was on fire," says local resident Halyna.

Fortunately, her house was not damaged, but she complains of severe stress.

"I've been drinking sedatives all morning. People died, what a grief," she says.
