In Zakarpattia, an indictment has been filed against two men suspected of working for Russian intelligence services. According to the investigation, they were gathering intelligence on military facilities, critical infrastructure, and the consequences of Russian strikes on Ukraine.
The investigation established that following a strike by an “Oreshnik” ballistic missile on Lviv, the suspects were tasked with gathering information on the consequences of the attack, particularly regarding the operation of the airport and railway infrastructure.
A 23-year-old suspect was detained near the Lviv airport while carrying out the mission, and his 63-year-old accomplice was detained in Mukachevo. Both are charged with treason committed under martial law. They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
