Thunderstorms and warm weather: Forecasters have released a weekly weather forecast for Ukraine
Next week in Ukraine will begin with thunderstorms, but the warm spring weather will continue. According to forecasts, these weather conditions are expected to persist at least through Friday.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
On Monday, May 18, Ukraine will be cloudy with some sunny intervals. Moderate rain, with thunderstorms in some areas; most eastern regions will remain dry. In the morning, there will be fog in some areas of the east, southeast, Zakarpattia, and the Carpathians.
Winds will be predominantly northwesterly, 5–10 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range:
- in the northern regions—from +19 to +23 degrees;
- in the eastern regions—from +20 to +25 degrees;
- in the central regions—from +20 to +22 degrees;
- in the southern regions—from +20 to +22 degrees;
- in the western regions – from +17 to +22 degrees.
On Tuesday, May 19, rain and thunderstorms are expected again across the country. Daytime temperatures will range from:
- in the northern regions—from +22 to +27 degrees;
- in the eastern regions—from +23 to +29 degrees;
- in the central regions—from +22 to +26 degrees;
- in the southern regions—from +23 to +25 degrees;
- in the western regions—from +19 to +22 degrees.
On Wednesday, May 20, only the western regions of Ukraine will remain rain-free. Daytime temperatures will range:
- in the northern regions—from +22 to +26 degrees;
- in the eastern regions—from +24 to +26 degrees;
- in the central regions—from +24 to +26 degrees;
- in the southern regions—from +24 to +26 degrees;
- in the western regions – from +20 to +24 degrees.
On Thursday, May 21, rain is expected in Ukraine, but without thunderstorms. Daytime temperatures will range from:
- in the northern regions—from +25 to +27 degrees;
- in the eastern regions—from 24 to 27 degrees;
- in the central regions—from 22°C to 27°C;
- in the southern regions—from +21 to +26 degrees;
- in the western regions—from +20 to +24 degrees.
On Friday, May 22, the weather will not change significantly, but it will be warm. Daytime temperatures will range:
- in the northern regions—from +25 to +27 degrees;
- in the eastern regions—from +25 to +29 degrees;
- in the central regions—from +23 to +27 degrees;
- in the southern regions—from +23 to +26 degrees;
- in the western regions—from +20 to +24 degrees.
