The Main Intelligence Directorate commented on the arrest of one of its employees in connection with the Yermolayev hitman case
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine commented on the arrest of one of its employees in connection with the murder of a Ukrainian woman who was wanted by Interpol for a crime committed in Monaco. The agency stated that it is providing full support to law enforcement in the investigation.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the two suspects were detained in cooperation with the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Office of the Prosecutor General. Investigative proceedings are currently underway, and all the circumstances of the case are being established.

As noted, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is committed to a thorough investigation and is providing comprehensive support to law enforcement agencies.
“The investigation is ongoing with the personal involvement of Oleg Ivashchenko, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” the agency emphasized.
Earlier, People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported that Reut, a GUR officer, is suspected in Berezovskaya’s murder.
