Inflation in Ukraine has slowed to 7.2%

In June 2026, annual inflation in Ukraine slowed to 7.2%, while consumer prices fell by 0.1%over the month. This marks the fourth consecutive month of slowing inflation.

According to the agency, eggs saw the sharpest price drop in June—by 27.8%. Prices also fell for vegetables, fruits, processed grain products, sugar, rice, lard, and poultry.

At the same time, prices rose for sunflower oil, fish, pasta, and bread. Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1.4%.

Clothing and footwear became 2.3% cheaper, while water supply and sewerage rates rose by 15.3% and 14.6%, respectively. The cost of rail and road transportation also increased slightly, while fuel prices fell by 1.6%.

In 2027: According to NBU forecasts, inflation will return to a steady slowdown. This will be facilitated by the stabilization of energy prices, good harvests, and the National Bank’s monetary policy measures.
