Weekend Weather in Ukraine: Where It Will Rain and When Warmer Weather Will Return
This weekend, July 11–12, Ukraine is expected to experience unsettled weather with localized brief showers and thunderstorms. At the same time, temperatures will remain comfortable, and forecasters predict a gradual warming trend next week without extreme heat.
Throughout Saturday and Sunday, most regions will see local, brief showers, with thunderstorms possible in some areas.
However, precipitation will be sporadic, with sunny intervals in between.
On Saturday, dry weather will prevail in southeastern Ukraine, and on Sunday—in the central and southern regions.
Daytime temperatures will range from +20 to +25°C, while in the southern regions, temperatures will reach +25 to +28°C.
In Kyiv, brief showers are also forecast for the weekend, with thunderstorms possible in some areas. Daytime temperatures in the capital will range from +20 to +22°C.
The meteorologist noted that a gradual warming trend will begin in Ukraine as early as the start of next week.
“This is good news for everyone who’s been feeling the cold,” said Natalka Didenko.
At the same time, she emphasized that no abnormal heat is forecast in the near future.
The meteorologist also advised Ukrainians planning outdoor activities not to forget umbrellas or raincoats, to bring dry clothes to change into if they get wet, and not to dress too lightly, as the weather will remain changeable.
