Ten more children were rescued from the occupied Kherson region
Another 10 children—seven boys and three girls aged two to seventeen—have been returned from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region to territory controlled by Ukraine. They are all currently safe and receiving the necessary psychological and medical care.
Among those returned are children who suffered systematic pressure and threats to their lives, including a 17-year-old girl whose room was damaged by a Russian drone and who was forced at gunpoint to attend a school run by the occupying forces, as well as a 16-year-old boy whom his family hid at home for four years to protect him from Russian schooling and conscription into the Russian military. The rescue was made possible through cooperation with the charity Save Ukraine as part of the presidential initiative “Bring Kids Back UA.” In total, 180 children have been returned from the occupied part of the Kherson region since the beginning of 2026.

Another 11 Ukrainian children have been returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast.
Ukraine has returned four more children, aged 6 to 15, from the temporarily occupied territories. Among them are a boy who had been separated from his parents for several years, a girl whose mother was unable to retrieve her for a long time due to the loss of her documents, and two teenagers who found themselves under occupation without their families.
