The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 3 billion hryvnias for the installation of 216 additional modular boiler rooms
The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 3 billion hryvnias from the reserve fund to install 216 modular boiler rooms, in order to ensure a reliable heat supply to homes and apartments amid Russia’s energy terror.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. Of this total amount, 966 million hryvnias will be directed directly to the Recovery Agency for the implementation of relevant projects in Kyiv.
The remaining funds, totaling over 2 billion hryvnias, will be allocated to other regions of Ukraine as part of the implementation of local resilience plans. The funds will be used to purchase equipment and components, as well as to carry out necessary construction and installation work. This decentralization of heat supply will enable hospitals, schools, and residential buildings to be quickly provided with heat in the event of crisis scenarios.
The key task for all regional military administrations and communities is to ensure the facilities are operational before the start of the heating season. Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that all planned equipment must be put into operation no later than October 1.
