The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the amounts of payments to be made in time for Independence Day in 2026
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has set the amounts of the one-time cash assistance to be paid by August 24, 2026, in honor of Independence Day.
This is stated in Government Resolution No. 602 of May 13.
According to the document, individuals with war-related disabilities will receive between 2,700 and 3,100 UAH, depending on their disability category. Combatants, victims of the Revolution of Dignity, and certain categories of former prisoners of Nazi camps are eligible for a payment of 1,000 UAH.
Individuals with special merits to the Motherland will receive 3,100 UAH. Family members of deceased war veterans, Defenders of Ukraine, as well as certain categories of widows and widowers, are to receive 650 UAH.
War veterans, former concentration camp prisoners, individuals who were forcibly taken to work camps, as well as children of partisans and underground fighters will receive 450 UAH.
The amounts of these payments remain the same as last year.
