Callas called on the EU to provide Ukraine with Patriot missiles
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas called on EU countries that have Patriot missile interceptors in stock to transfer them to Ukraine.
The European Commission emphasized that Ukraine’s air defense remains one of its top priorities and that Kyiv urgently needs additional air defense capabilities.
European Commission spokesperson Anita Hipper noted that Kallas is in contact with EU member states to encourage them to increase their commitments to supplying Ukraine with ammunition and other military aid.

As a reminder, European countries have stepped up their search for interceptor missiles for the Patriot systems they plan to transfer to Ukraine. Kyiv is seeking to strengthen its missile defense ahead of a possible new wave of Russian attacks this winter.
