The head of the Territorial Military Commissariat in Vinnytsia Oblast is suspected of tampering with data on conscripts

Officials from the State Bureau of Investigations have notified the head of one of the district military registration and enlistment offices and the Joint Staff in Vinnytsia Oblast that he is under suspicion. According to the investigation, the official illegally made changes to the “Oberig” system to artificially improve mobilization statistics.

According to the SBI, he altered the status of men subject to military service who were wanted by the authorities and entered information about their alleged mobilization and military service, even though there were no actual grounds for doing so.

So far, nearly 50 men have been identified who were falsely enrolled in various military units across Ukraine in this manner.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. SBI officials are investigating whether these actions were linked to the receipt of improper benefits, as well as determining the possible involvement of officials from the military units to which the data on the allegedly mobilized citizens was falsely entered.

The head of the Regional Military Registration and Enlistment Office has been notified of suspicion of repeatedly making unauthorized changes to information processed in automated systems (Parts 1 and 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

He has been suspended from his position.

The penalty under this article provides for up to 6 years of imprisonment, along with disqualification from holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for a period of up to 3 years.

The Vinnytsia Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Southern Region is overseeing the proceedings.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).

The State Bureau of Investigation denied any involvement in blocking the investigation into Sukhachov’s brother.

As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) announced that it had notified an Azov fighter of his status as a suspect in connection with the death of a comrade in captivity.

The head of the Kamin-Kashirsky District Police Department was detained on bribery charges, according to media reports.
