Kharkiv CHPP-5 has filed a claim with the Register of Damages Caused by Russia’s Aggression Against Ukraine for more than 5 billion hryvnias.
This was reported by the law firm Asters.
The claim was filed on May 4 under a new category concerning damage to or destruction of critical infrastructure. As noted, this is one of the first claims of this kind since the launch of the relevant mechanism for legal entities.
Asters lawyers worked pro bono on preparing the documents in collaboration with the law firm “Shkrebets & Partners.”
At the end of April, the Register of Damages opened new categories for claims from legal entities and the state, covering damage to critical and non-critical infrastructure.
As a reminder, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) detained military personnel for embezzling over 47 million hryvnias worth of FPV drones.
The SBI also detained an officer of the Kyiv Territorial Military Commissariat for torturing conscripts.
