A prosecutor in Khmelnytskyi was fired over a video on OnlyFans

Anton Wendel, a prosecutor with the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office, was dismissed from the prosecutor’s office following a scandal over the publication of intimate videos on the OnlyFans platform and sexually explicit messages he sent to court employees. This was reported by local media.

According to journalists, in early 2026, Wendel began sending messages and videos of an intimate nature to secretaries and assistants at the Khmelnytskyi City and District Court. He later created an account on the OnlyFans platform under the pseudonym Adonis, where he posted explicit content.

It is alleged that some of the videos may have been recorded in his office at the prosecutor’s office. The prosecutor allegedly also sent this material to female court employees.

After the court employees appealed to the Prosecutor General and the situation gained public attention, Wendel was initially transferred to the Letychiv District Prosecutor’s Office. However, following widespread public outcry, he was dismissed from the prosecutor’s office.

It is reported that the complaint filed by the female employees of the Khmelnytskyi City and District Court was initially referred to the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office for review. According to sources, the investigation was conducted by Serhiy Kerman, the head of the relevant department, who found no violations in the prosecutor’s actions.

Subsequently, on July 3, 2026, Anton Kovalsky, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office, transferred Wendel to the Letychiv District Prosecutor’s Office. Following further public outcry, the prosecutor was dismissed on July 9.

According to Wendel’s 2025 financial disclosure statement, the family’s main source of income was his salary at the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office—over 1.1 million hryvnias per year. The family also declared real estate, land plots, a Skoda Octavia, and $10,000 in cash.

In 2023, the prosecutor purchased a vacation home in the village of Oleshyn, Khmelnytskyi District, with an area of 45.2 square meters and a value of 611,000 UAH. In 2025, his wife became the owner of a 0.0616-hectare land plot in Khmelnytskyi.
