Cold weather in Ukraine will persist for a few more days, after which a gradual—and eventually noticeable—warming is expected starting in early May.
According to forecasters, on May 1, the weather will be determined by a high-pressure system, though cold air will still linger in the upper atmosphere. Nighttime frosts of 0 to -3 degrees are possible, while daytime temperatures will range from 8 to 13 degrees. Short-lived showers are possible in some regions.
As early as May 2, temperatures will begin to rise to +10…+15 degrees, and in the west—up to +17 degrees, although frosts will still persist at night.
On May 3, the warming will intensify: daytime temperatures are expected to reach +13…+18 across the country, and up to +22 degrees in the western regions.
Weather services also confirm this trend. It will still be cool at the end of April, but starting May 3–4, temperatures will rise to +18…+22, and from the beginning of next week—to +20 and higher.
Thus, starting in early May, Ukraine will see more stable and warm weather, with little precipitation and more sunny days.
