Who Do Ukrainians Trust the Most? – A Survey

Ukrainians place the greatest trust in figures from the defense sector—Zaluzhny, Brovdi, and Budanov.

This is evidenced by the results of a new nationwide survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).

Respondents have the most favorable view of SBS Commander Robert Brovdi (70% trust him, 7% do not trust him, with a balance of +63%), Valeriy Zaluzhny (73% trust him, 21% do not trust him, with a balance of +52%), and Kyrylo Budanov (70% trust him, 22% do not trust him, with a balance of +48%).

Next is A. Biletsky, whom 49% trust, 12% do not trust, and the balance is +38%. At the same time, 33% did not know who A. Biletsky was even with a “hint,” meaning he has significant potential to improve his ratings as public awareness increases.

Commander-in-Chief O. Syrskyi is trusted by 52%, distrusted by 36%, with a balance of +16%.

Among politicians and public figures, the highest trust balance is held by I. Terekhov (+32%), M. Fedorov (+29%), V. Zelensky (+27%), and V. Kim (+20%). O. Lyashko (+5%) and S. Prytula (+2%) also maintain a positive rating. Other well-known politicians have a negative balance, with the lowest levels of distrust recorded for P. Poroshenko (-45%), Y. Boyko (-72%), and Y. Tymoshenko (-75%). For figures such as I. Terekhov, M. Fedorov, V. Kim, Y. Svyrydenko, D. Razumkov, O. Goncharenko, and A. Biletsky, experts note the potential for increased popularity due to rising public awareness of their activities.
