South Korea has donated 60 pickup trucks to the National Police of Ukraine for use in wartime conditions

The National Police of Ukraine received 60 pickup trucks from the Republic of Korea, which will be used to carry out official duties in high-risk areas.

The handover of the vehicles took place during a meeting between the leadership of the National Police of Ukraine and representatives of the Republic of Korea, including Ambassador Park Ki-chang, embassy officials, and representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

The event was also attended by senior officials of the National Police, including the agency’s deputy chief and the head of the patrol police, Oleksandr Fatsievych.

The main outcome of the visit was the handover of 60 pickup trucks, which will enhance the mobility and operational capabilities of police units working in frontline regions and involved in ensuring security.

National Police Chief Ivan Vygivsky thanked the government and people of the Republic of Korea for their support and emphasized that the donated vehicles will be used to carry out security operations, evacuations, and the documentation of war crimes.

Park Ki-chang, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, noted that this assistance is a demonstration of solidarity with Ukraine and a symbol of support for the Ukrainian people.

This is stated in a press release from the National Police.

Earlier, Slovakia donated a shipment of modern medical equipment worth over 340 thousand euros to Ukraine, which was received by hospitals in Vinnytsia and Kyiv. Officials in Bratislava emphasize that this is part of systematic humanitarian support during the war and an investment in the development of Ukrainian medicine.

Kyiv received equipment from its Japanese partners to ensure the uninterrupted operation of artesian pumping stations, which supply water to approximately 60,000 residents of the capital.
