Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced this on her Telegram channel.
Who has received what
According to the Prime Minister, the distribution of payments among the programs is as follows:
- a one-time childbirth allowance of 50,000 UAH has been awarded to nearly 28,000 women who gave birth after January 1, 2026;
- pregnancy and childbirth benefits—7,000 UAH per month—were received by nearly 20,000 women;
- payments for childcare for children under 1 year of age (7,000 UAH per month) were received by over 114,000 families;
- funds under the “YeYasla” program have already been allocated to over 5,280 families.
“YeYasla” provides 8,000 UAH per month to a mother, father, or guardian who returns to work after the child turns 1 year old. The funds can be used to pay for a nanny, daycare, educational services, and child care supplies.
Svyrydenko also reported that starting in March, parents can open a special account at Oschadbank to receive child benefits. Currently, the government is finalizing efforts to ensure that all benefits can be processed through “Diyu” and received via a single card.
“The government continues to improve the system of ‘child’ benefits. We are currently finalizing work so that all child benefits can be processed through ‘Diyu’ and received via a single card. We are also preparing a decision regarding the revision of the terms for using the funds,” the Prime Minister noted.
Separately, Svyrydenko confirmed that families eligible for payments will receive them. Earlier, some mothers reported delays in receiving the 50,000 UAH payment upon the birth of a child. Minister of Social Policy Denys Ulyutin explained that the issue arose due to technical errors during the opening of bank accounts and has already been resolved.
Svyrydenko: Key international highways have been repaired ahead of schedule.
As a reminder, traffic on the Kyiv–Chop highway will be partially restricted due to repairs.
The government has announced when road repairs will be completed.
About 50 billion hryvnias are needed for the restoration and routine maintenance of roads in Ukraine.
