Maksym Borysov of the Kyiv Customs Office declared gifts worth millions of hryvnias
Maksym Borysov, deputy head of the Kyiv Customs Post, declared that he had received two properties as non-monetary gifts from Lyudmyla Borysova (Dmytrivna).
This was reported by Absolution Leaks.
The properties in question are a 94-square-meter apartment valued at 5 million hryvnias as of the date of acquisition of ownership, as well as a 28-square-meter apartment share valued at 1.1 million hryvnias.
According to data from the Kyiv real estate market as of May, the average price on the secondary market is 50–70 thousand UAH per square meter and higher, depending on the neighborhood and the condition of the property. When converted, the declared properties are valued at approximately 53,000 UAH/sq. m for the apartment and about 39,000 UAH/sq. m for the share, which corresponds to the lower limit or below average market rates.
According to the 2025 declaration filed in February 2026, the official’s primary income was his salary at the Kyiv Customs Office—913,000 UAH—and he also declared a pension of 58,000 UAH.
The property listed also includes a 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Wagon passenger car, owned by Lyudmila Borisova. Previously, the official declared a 48.9-square-meter apartment held in joint ownership and a garage, as well as insurance liabilities in favor of Lyudmila Borisova amounting to 63,000 UAH as of the end of 2025.

Also in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, the prosecutor’s office is seeking through the courts nearly 387 million hryvnias in compensation for damages caused by logging in the “Hutsulshchyna” National Park. The investigation claims that under the guise of sanitary work, over 9,000 trees were destroyed there without the necessary permits and approvals. Now, they are attempting to hold the state-owned enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” responsible, to which the relevant forestry enterprise was later merged.
