The price of raspberries in Ukraine has fallen by 36%
A seasonal price crash for summer berries has begun in Ukraine. Due to the massive influx of fresh produce from local growers, the price of raspberries in Kyiv’s markets has plummeted by nearly 36%.
Sellers are forced to quickly lower their prices due to the berries’ short shelf life, which has already significantly piqued buyers’ interest.
As of mid-June 2026, raspberries have become the clear leader in price drops among all categories of fresh produce.
Farmers are trying to sell their perishable goods as quickly as possible amid fierce competition, so they are actively offering price concessions to customers.
Currently, there is intense competition for consumers in the market, which is having a positive impact on Ukrainians’ wallets.
According to monitoring data from the “Stolichny” market in Kyiv, the berries are currently selling within a wide range of 400 to 500 UAH/kg. The average market price has stabilized at 450 UAH/kg.
Just a few days ago, this figure was significantly higher, but the peak of the season and massive shipments have forced farmers to drastically lower their prices.
Consumers reacted immediately to these changes: thanks to the more attractive prices, demand for the berries in the markets has risen significantly.
