A series of nighttime arson attacks on trash collection sites has been reported in Brovary
On the night of June 23, in the city of Brovary in the Kyiv region, trash containers caught fire almost simultaneously at six different locations.
Local authorities and utility services have reasonable grounds to suspect arson due to the specific nature and concentration of the fire sites.
All the fires were recorded within a single neighborhood of the city. Specifically, five fires were detected on Nezalezhnosti Boulevard, and another on Heroiv UPA Street.
The fires broke out one after another within a short period of time, forcing emergency services to respond rapidly to calls throughout the entire neighborhood.

State Emergency Service personnel arrived at the scene and quickly extinguished the fires, along with representatives of law enforcement agencies. The large number of simultaneous fires in residential areas suggests coordinated actions by perpetrators.
Mayor Ihor Sapozhko officially commented on the nighttime emergencies and confirmed the theory of human involvement: “Given the large number of fires that broke out almost simultaneously and the fact that all the fire sites are located in the same neighborhood, this may be a case of arson.”

According to the mayor, municipal utilities have already filed official reports with law enforcement agencies.
The police have launched an investigation, are reviewing CCTV footage, and are identifying potential witnesses or suspects.
This was reported by Mayor Ihor Sapozhko.
