The Ministry of Defense has responded to the killing of a military personnel at the TCC in Lviv and announced changes to the mobilization process

The Ministry of Defense stated that the killing of a soldier—whether on the front lines or in the rear—constitutes a crime against Ukraine, and the perpetrator will face inevitable punishment.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The ministry emphasized that the state relies on military personnel who fulfill their duties in various regions and in various positions, including non-combat roles.

The Ministry of Defense also acknowledged that the mobilization system requires changes and promised to implement them in the near future.

At the same time, they stressed that no problems with the system can justify murder.

The ministry expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased soldier.

An employee of the Territorial Recruitment and Support Center tragically died in Lviv. The incident occurred during mobilization activities on Paton and Vyhovsky Streets.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased TCS soldier and stressed the need for a swift investigation.
