The Ministry of Defense is using AI to analyze airstrikes and plan operations — Fedorov
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has implemented an AI-based solution for analyzing airstrikes, processing intelligence data, and planning military operations.
This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to him, these technologies are being implemented in collaboration with the American company Palantir Technologies. Specifically, the parties have created a system for analyzing air strikes, tools for working with large sets of intelligence data, and solutions for planning operations.
Separately, Fedorov mentioned the Brave1 Dataroom platform, which provides developers with access to real-time battlefield data for training artificial intelligence models. According to him, over 100 companies are working on more than 80 such models.
The minister noted that technology, data analysis, and artificial intelligence directly influence the situation on the battlefield.
Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine certified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine three fiber-optic FPV systems manufactured by enterprises of JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry.”
Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense had certified and approved the domestic unmanned aerial system “Volynaka” for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the Shablya MK19(M) remotely controlled combat module for use by the troops. It is equipped with an MK19 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had standardized and approved the “Nebokray” mobile workshops for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The system is designed for the repair and maintenance of drones.
