During the day, hail and squalls with wind speeds of 15–20 m/s are forecast in some areas. At night, most northern and central regions will be dry. The wind will be predominantly westerly, 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures in the western, northern, Vinnytsia, and Cherkasy regions will be 9–14°, and 13–18° in the rest of the country; during the day 19–25°, in the south and southeast 23–28°, and in the western regions 15–20°.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a yellow danger level (Level I): at night in the Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions and in Crimea—heavy rain and thunderstorms; during the day in the eastern regions—heavy rain, thunderstorms, and in some areas, hail and squalls of 15–20 m/s. Adverse weather conditions may disrupt the operations of energy, construction, and utility companies, as well as traffic.
On Friday, July 10, Kyiv will be cloudy with some sunny intervals. No precipitation at night; brief showers during the day. The wind will be westerly, 5–10 m/s. Temperatures across the region will range from 9–14° at night to 19–24° during the day; in Kyiv, temperatures will range from 12–14° at night to 21–23° during the day, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
