The Ministry of Defense has approved new medical report forms for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has updated the medical standards for military personnel to reflect the realities of intense combat operations. Based on the results of testing more than 30 Ukrainian and foreign models, specialists from the Central Directorate for Development and Logistics selected four models to replace the outdated ones.
All selected models were tested for ergonomics, deployment speed, ambidexterity, and internal layout.

Model No. 61
This is a “Roll”/“Tunnel” type pouch with a through-hole tubular base-cover and two-sided access.
The inner liner can be instantly pulled out by the loops with either hand. Inside, there is a through-pocket sleeve and elastic compartments.

Model No. 35
The pouch attaches to the base using Velcro and a compression strap with a Fast-Ex buckle.
The design unfolds into a single panel and features three functional sections with mesh pockets and vertical elastic compartments. The model is also equipped with a reinforced Rip-Away handle.

Model No. 27
This is a classic detachable design with a reinforced plastic MOLLE base platform.
The pouch has a 105 mm high top closure flap and a coiled safety cord that prevents it from being lost during combat.
The internal pockets are 110 mm high and feature 25-mm-wide compartments.

Model No. 24
This is a detachable-style modification featuring a top Fast-Ex buckle and deep internal pockets 200 mm high.
Wider elastic straps, 35 mm wide, are provided for the secure attachment of larger medical equipment.
Currently, the Ministry of Defense has established provisional technical and quality requirements for the four selected types. This will allow manufacturers to familiarize themselves with the requirements, and military units, brigades, and volunteer organizations to begin decentralized procurement of pilot production batches.
The next stage will be a pilot operation lasting up to one year. The military will test the new products directly in real combat conditions.
Based on the results of this testing, the Ministry of Defense plans to collect feedback from service members and adjust the specifications as needed.
Once the requirements are finalized, an official technical specification will be developed, which is necessary for conducting large-scale centralized procurements through the ProZorro system.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Currently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is preparing a reform of the mobilization system and territorial recruitment centers; however, there is no specific launch date yet.
The number of new 14-month contracts signed by military personnel is several times higher than the previously announced figure of 2,000. The Ministry of Defense is not currently disclosing the exact number.
