In Kropyvnytskyi, Oleksandr Florinskyi, deputy head of the customs payments department at the customs office, was found guilty of bribery and fined.
This is stated in the verdict of the Fortetskyi District Court.
According to the investigation, between October 2025 and January 2026, the official demanded and received money from a company representative in exchange for facilitating the rapid issuance of EUR.1 certificates for honey exports.
He offered his “services” for $200 per document. In total, he received $1,200 for four certificates.
The defendant pleaded guilty and expressed remorse. The court took this into account, as well as his lack of prior convictions and the fact that he transferred part of the bail—220,000 UAH—to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result, the court imposed a fine of 59,500 UAH and also ordered him to pay over 4,000 UAH in expert examination costs.
Seizures of property and funds were lifted, and some of the physical evidence was returned.
