In the Cherkasy region, police are investigating the death of an 11-year-old girl who, according to preliminary reports, may have taken medication following a conflict with her peers.
The child was found unconscious by her parents on July 30. She was hospitalized but could not be saved.
Law enforcement officials have opened a criminal case into the death, classified as “suicide,” and ordered the necessary forensic examinations. A separate investigation is underway into a conflict between minors, a video of which was discovered on social media. According to police, the deceased girl was one of the participants in the conflict.

Investigators are identifying all participants and witnesses to the incident and are examining whether this conflict is linked to the child’s death.
