The procedure for issuing air raid alerts has been changed in Donetsk Oblast
A new procedure for sounding air raid alarms has been introduced in the Donetsk region. The changes apply to both the standard air raid alarm and the separate warning signal for the threat of guided aerial bombs (GAB).
From now on, when an air raid alert is declared, sirens will sound continuously for three minutes, and the signal will then be repeated every 30 minutes until the all-clear is given. Once the danger has passed, the sirens will sound a continuous signal lasting 30 seconds.
In the event of a threat from guided aerial bombs, the sirens will sound intermittently—three 15-second blasts. Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, urged residents not to ignore the signals and to proceed immediately to shelters.
