In the Kharkiv region, a man used a computer game to recruit children for pornographic content
In the Kharkiv region, law enforcement officers apprehended a man who, according to the investigation, used the internet to recruit children for sexual exploitation and the production of pornographic material.
According to police, the suspect befriended minors using fake identities and then moved the conversations to messaging apps. He offered the children money to send pornographic photos and videos, and also sent them his own explicit images.
According to investigators, these activities took place between 2023 and 2026. Law enforcement officials documented three instances of the man’s criminal activity.
In addition, investigators determined that the suspect met with some of the victims and engaged in sexual contact with them. Law enforcement has so far identified three children who may have been victimized by his actions.
The man has been notified that he is suspected of committing criminal offenses. If found guilty, he faces up to 15 years in prison, with or without confiscation of property.
A pretrial investigation is currently underway, and law enforcement officials are establishing all the circumstances of the case.

In Lviv, a court imposed a preventive measure on a 48-year-old chief engineer at a construction company who is suspected of recruiting minors to produce child pornography. By court order, the man was taken into custody without the right to post bail.
