An earthquake was recorded in the Khmelnytskyi region

On July 9, an earthquake measuring 1.6 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Khmelnytskyi region. The tremors occurred in the Novoushytska territorial community.

According to experts, the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 5 kilometers.

The magnitude of the tremors was 1.6, which, according to the classification, falls under the category of imperceptible earthquakes. Such seismic events are usually not felt by people and pose no danger.

Experts note that the earthquake did not cause any damage or other negative consequences, and its parameters correspond to weak natural seismic fluctuations.

As a reminder, on the morning of July 7, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 occurred in the Poltava region. The tremors were weak and, according to experts, posed no danger to the population.
