In the Kyiv region, a drunk father beat his 7-year-old son until he lost consciousness
In the Kyiv region, a 45-year-old man under the influence of alcohol brutally beat his seven-year-old son, inflicting life-threatening injuries.
This was reported by the Kyiv region police and prosecutor’s office. The incident occurred on May 15 in the village of Semipolky during a birthday celebration, when, following a conflict between the parents, the mother left the children with their father.
The suspect entered the room and struck the child numerous times with his hands on the head and body, causing the boy to suffer a traumatic brain injury, a subdural hematoma, and brain swelling. The young victim was hospitalized and is currently under medical supervision. The perpetrator was detained and taken into custody without the right to bail; he has been notified of suspicion of intentionally causing serious bodily harm, for which he faces up to 8 years in prison.
Meanwhile, a drunk Maserati driver caused a serious traffic accident near the Hryshko Botanical Garden.
Earlier, the case of a judge from Kryvyi Rih, who struck an 11-year-old boy at a crosswalk, was referred to court. The child sustained serious injuries and remains in critical condition.
