Border Crossing at Hungary Suspended Due to Power Outage
The “Tysa” checkpoint on the border with Hungary has temporarily stopped processing people and vehicles due to a power outage. Note that since 16 February, restrictions have been in place at the “Solotvyno – Sighetu Marmației” checkpoint: on weekdays from 09:00 to 16:00, vehicle processing is paused, though pedestrian traffic continues as usual.
Therefore, anyone planning to cross the border into Hungary should check the status of checkpoints and expect possible delays.
