In the Lviv region, a train traveling from Truskavets to Dnipro struck a 61-year-old man
In the village of Pluhiv, Zolochiv District, Lviv Oblast, a train on the “Truskavets–Dnipro” route struck a 61-year-old man. The victim died at the scene from his injuries.
The accident occurred on September 27 at approximately 6:05 p.m. According to law enforcement officials, a local resident of the village of Honcharivka suddenly stepped onto the tracks directly in front of the train.
In connection with the tragedy, investigators have opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Article 276 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of traffic safety rules or rules for the operation of rail transport). The article provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of five to ten years.

In the city of Chop in Zakarpattia, a train fatally struck a 49-year-old man who was on the railroad tracks. The victim died at the scene. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the tragedy and searching for his place of residence and relatives.
