The first underground preschool has opened in Zaporizhzhia
The first underground preschool has opened in Zaporizhzhia, located near the front lines. It is designed to accommodate 115 children and is housed in a protected space.
The facility has a radiation shelter covering more than 900 square meters, which can accommodate up to 140 people at a time. It provides the necessary conditions for the children to learn, rest, and eat throughout the day.
The space has also been adapted for children with special educational needs.
According to Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi, the government, in collaboration with local authorities, continues to create safe learning conditions, primarily in frontline cities and communities.
