In the Odesa region, a man shot and wounded a 15-year-old girl with a rifle

In the Vilkivska community in the Odesa region, a 43-year-old man was detained after he fired shots at teenagers without provocation and wounded a minor girl. 

The incident occurred a few days ago in one of the villages, where the suspect, standing near his home, first fired several shots into the air with an air gun and then aimed at the children sitting on a nearby bench. 

As a result of the shooting, the 15-year-old victim sustained a non-penetrating chest wound and was hospitalized for treatment. The suspect, who showed clear signs of intoxication, was detained that same evening in accordance with legal procedures, and police seized the rifle and the bullet fired, sending them for forensic examination.
