A man was found dead in the Carpathian region after a three-week search

In the Carpathian region, the search has concluded for Vitaliy Logush, a 36-year-old resident of the village of Novytsia in the Kalush District, who went missing on August 21. The man was found dead in the forest; no signs of a violent death were found on his body.

At around 9:00 a.m. on August 21, the man left his home to go to a store but did not return.

Law enforcement officials launched a search for the missing man. On September 7, the police appealed to local residents for help in locating him.

Anyone with information about Vitaliy Logush was urged to contact the Kalush District Police Department.

On September 14, with the help of a police dog, law enforcement officers discovered the missing man’s body in a wooded area.

According to preliminary data, no signs of a violent death were found on the body. The cause of death will be determined by a forensic medical examination.

Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the man’s death.

Vitaliy Logush’s mother reported his disappearance to law enforcement.

As a reminder, Vladislav Ilyin, a soldier with the 72nd Mechanized Brigade with the call sign “Timati,” was killed during a combat mission in Donetsk Oblast. He had been listed as missing in action for over a year, and his identity was confirmed only after DNA testing.
