In the Rivne region, rescue workers rescued two fawns from a forest fire
While extinguishing a dry grass fire near the village of Mala Sovpa in the Rivne region, rescue workers saved two fawns that had become trapped in the midst of the flames and thick smoke.
While extinguishing the blaze, emergency responders heard unusual sounds coming from the thick undergrowth, which caught their attention. After searching the area, they found two frightened fawns that were unable to leave the danger zone on their own due to the fire.
The animals were carefully carried out of the fire and moved to a safe place where their lives were no longer in danger.
This rescue story once again serves as a reminder of the serious consequences of burning dry vegetation for nature and wildlife.
“We urge citizens not to burn dry vegetation! Such fires cause irreparable damage to the environment, destroy plants and animals, and can pose a threat to human life,” the rescuers emphasized.
Experts once again urge citizens to follow fire safety rules and remember that setting dry vegetation on fire leads to the destruction of natural ecosystems, the death of animals, and can cause large-scale fires.
In Kyiv, following overnight shelling in Osokorky, rescue workers found an injured roe deer that had hidden under a car in panic. The animal was carefully retrieved and transported to the Wildlife Rescue Center, where it is currently receiving treatment.
