A pedophile who sent his daughter intimate photos will stand trial in Rivne Oblast

In the Rivne region, a 43-year-old man will stand trial for sending intimate messages and pornographic photos via social media to five girls aged 12 to 15, one of whom is his daughter. 

Law enforcement officials have completed the pretrial investigation and forwarded the criminal case file to the court. 

The suspect was exposed last summer after the parents of the victimized girls from a village in the Rivne district filed a complaint. While examining the suspect’s phone, police also discovered video material containing elements of child pornography, and the fact that the crimes were committed repeatedly was recognized as an aggravating circumstance in the case.

The defendant is charged with committing lewd acts against minors and a young child, as well as the production, possession, and distribution of child pornography. The suspect is currently in custody, and the court will determine his final prison sentence.

In the city of Lutsk, law enforcement officers exposed a woman suspected of producing and distributing pornographic content involving her 3-year-old daughter. According to the investigation, the woman used the child to create illegal material and passed it on to another person in exchange for payment.
