An illegal migrant from Belarus was discovered in the Rivne region
Officers of the Rivne Region Migration Police apprehended a Belarusian citizen who was staying in Ukraine illegally and systematically violating immigration laws. Following a decision by law enforcement officials, the foreign national was placed in a temporary detention center for foreigners and stateless persons.
During operations to combat illegal migration, operatives from the Migration Police Department, together with officers from Police Station No. 2 (Zarichne settlement), established that a citizen of the Republic of Belarus had illegally crossed Ukraine’s state border and settled in the village of Komory in the Zarichne community, where he was born.
Law enforcement officials noted that as far back as 2021, the man had already been held administratively liable under Article 203 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses for violating the rules governing the stay of foreigners in Ukraine. At that time, the State Migration Service issued a decision ordering his forced return to his country of origin, which he complied with.
However, the foreign national later returned to Ukraine illegally and settled in the Rivne region.
During this time, the man was repeatedly held administratively liable for violating immigration laws, but he failed to pay the fines imposed.

Given his systematic disregard for Ukrainian law, law enforcement officials once again drew up an administrative report against the Belarusian citizen under Article 203 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and issued a decision on his forced expulsion from Ukraine.
Until the relevant procedures are completed, the man will remain at a temporary detention center for foreigners and stateless persons.
This was reported by the Rivne Regional Police.
Earlier in Zakarpattia, law enforcement officers uncovered a scheme to illegally smuggle men across the Ukrainian-Slovak border. According to the investigation, the organizers charged $17,000 from each “client.”
At the Ukrainian-Moldovan border, customs officers discovered ten men hiding in the cargo compartment of a truck. According to the paperwork, the vehicle was transporting paper cups and lids, but during an inspection, law enforcement officers also found people inside.
