Over 600 million hryvnias were allocated for the telethon; who received the funds
The "Mi-Ukraine" channel produces the most expensive content among the participants in the "United News" telethon.
On April 22, the state-owned enterprise “Multimedia Platform for International Broadcasting of Ukraine” allocated funding to private TV channels involved in producing news content for the round-the-clock “United News #UA Together” marathon.
The total value of the agreements amounted to 638 million UAH, according to People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak/Telegram
In first place is Mi-Ukraine LLC with 179.58 million UAH. Over the course of this year, the channel must produce 918 hours of news content. The price per hour is 163,020 UAH (excluding VAT). This is the highest rate among all producers of the TV marathon.
Studio 1+1 TV and Radio Company LLC received 179.16 million UAH. “Plus” is to produce 1,143 hours of news content; the cost per hour is estimated at 130,620 UAH (excluding VAT).
SLM News TV and Radio Company LLC received 179.13 million UAH. These funds will be used to produce 1,299 hours of television programs and materials. The cost per hour is 114,910 UAH (excluding VAT).

The smallest amount of budget funds went to PJSC “Inter TV Channel”—100.08 million UAH. These funds will be sufficient to produce 868 hours of content. The cost per hour amounts to 96.08 thousand UAH (excluding VAT).
It should be noted that all private channels participating in the telethon produce programs for the telethon at 2025 rates.
Prior to this, an investigation was published showing that the Office of the President is spending exorbitant amounts of state funds on the television business. In 2025, the Office of the President allocated 800 million UAH for the “Unified Marathon” and another 184 million UAH for the “We Are Ukraine” channel.
The “We Are Ukraine” channel, which receives state support for producing content for the Unified Telethon, has faced financial difficulties. Laid-off employees claim that the salaries of those who remained on the job were cut by 20%. As a result, mass layoffs are taking place at the channel, and part of the staff is in limbo regarding their future employment.
