A 15-year-old boy drowned in a pond in the Vinnytsia region
A 15-year-old boy drowned while swimming in the Vinnytsia region. The tragedy occurred on the evening of June 11 in the village of Noskivtsi, Stanislavchyk community.
The boy disappeared underwater in a local pond. Rescuers searched for him until late at night, but the search was unsuccessful.
On the morning of June 12, local fishermen spotted the teenager’s body in the water and brought it ashore.
The State Emergency Service emphasizes that disregarding water safety rules can lead to irreparable consequences and urges parents to explain to their children the dangers of swimming in bodies of water and to supervise their leisure activities.
