One person was killed and others were injured in a four-car collision in the Vinnytsia region
On the evening of June 4, a major traffic accident involving three passenger cars and a truck occurred on the Vinnytsia bypass in Vinnytsia Oblast. One person was killed and six others were injured in the collision. Two children were among the victims. Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
“A horrific traffic accident occurred near Vinnytsia yesterday evening. Three passenger cars and one truck collided on Lviv Highway,” the report states.
It is noted that the driver of one of the passenger cars died as a result of the accident. Six other people, including two children, were injured.
The victims were hospitalized.
Rescuers had to extricate the deceased driver from the wrecked car and take measures to prevent a possible fire.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are being investigated by National Police investigators.
