Deputy Interior Minister Kovalchuk declared cryptocurrency holdings worth over ₴7.8 million
Pavlo Kovalchuk, Deputy Head of the Regional Service Center of the State Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Rivne, Volyn, and Zhytomyr regions, has declared cryptocurrency assets worth over 7.8 million hryvnias.
The declaration states that the official owns cryptocurrency totaling over 7.85 million UAH.
These include WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) — 3.1 million UAH; Tether (USDT) — 4.35 million UAH; and AI (Sleepless AI Token) — 394,500 UAH.
According to the declaration, all digital assets are held on the WhiteBIT exchange.
In addition, Kovalchuk declared a salary of 777,260 UAH, income from the sale of property amounting to 850,000 UAH, as well as other income, including social benefits and assistance.












The family owns and uses a significant amount of real estate in the Volyn region:
a 178.8 m² house in the village of Lypyny (owned by his wife);
a 118.1 m² house in Lutsk (joint shared ownership);
land plots in Lypyny, Strumivka, Zhabka, and Lyuboml
non-residential premises in Lutsk and Lyuboml.
The declaration also lists three cars, including an Audi Q7, an Audi Q8, and a Hyundai Ioniq 5.
Additionally, it is noted that the daughter received a fee in Poland amounting to 209,500 UAH, the wife is not officially employed, and the family declared $20,000 and 400,000 UAH in cash.

The NACP draws attention to the significant amount of crypto assets given an official salary of approximately 777,000 UAH, as well as the presence of expensive cars, real estate, and cash savings in the official’s family.
