In Transcarpathia, the body of a missing 10-year-old boy was recovered from a river
On June 24, rescue workers found and recovered from the river the body of a 10-year-old boy who had gone missing in Zakarpattia. The search and rescue operation lasted more than two days.
On Wednesday, June 24, the body of a boy who had been swept away by the Tisa River three days earlier was found in a body of water near the village of Trosnyk in the Vynogradiv community. Law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Zakarpattia Oblast, the child was found in the water 4 km from where he went missing.

“This morning, rescuers located and recovered a 10-year-old boy showing no signs of life from the Tisa River. He had been swept away by the current near the village of Hetinya,” the State Emergency Service said.
