NABU conducted searches in connection with the case involving Stefanyishyna's alleged illicit enrichment
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) are investigating a criminal case regarding the alleged illegal enrichment and false reporting of assets by former Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olga Stefanishyna.
According to the investigation, NABU detectives have opened a criminal case based on allegations of possible illicit enrichment and false asset declarations.
According to law enforcement officials, Olga Stefanishyna may have acquired de facto ownership of:
- an apartment with an area of 99.8 square meters;
- several non-residential premises;
- a parking space in the “Lvivska Ploshcha” residential complex;
- two apartments in the “Faina Town” residential complex.
In addition, according to investigators, between 2021 and 2025, the former deputy prime minister used a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 220D.
As part of this criminal investigation, NABU detectives searched a 2022 Land Rover Range Rover belonging to attorney Ivan Kholondovych.
According to the investigation, the attorney may have assisted in facilitating the purchase of two apartments in the “Faina Town” residential complex.
During the investigative actions, law enforcement officers seized two cell phones—an iPhone 16 Pro Max and an iPhone 17. Subsequently, the court ordered their seizure, and the devices themselves were recognized as material evidence in the criminal proceedings.
No official notice of suspicion has been made public in this case as of yet. Meanwhile, the pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors are establishing all the facts.
This is evidenced by rulings from the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) and the HACC Appeals Chamber, and is also confirmed by sources within anti-corruption agencies.
As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court will hear the case against Olga Stefanishyna, whom the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office accuses of embezzling public funds.
