The head of a military supply depot will stand trial for the disappearance of food supplies worth 3.5 million hryvnias
Officials from the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) have completed a pretrial investigation into the former warehouse manager of a logistics platoon at a military unit in the Mykolaiv region. Due to his failure to properly perform his official duties, food supplies for military personnel worth over 3.5 million hryvnias went missing from the warehouse.
The official failed to ensure the proper storage of supplies, resulting in the disappearance of canned goods, vegetables, and dry rations intended to feed soldiers during combat operations. The soldier is currently serving as a driver in another military unit.
The suspect is charged with negligence in the performance of military duties under martial law, which led to serious consequences.
