Educators in the Kyiv region were urged not to hold mass assemblies on September 1

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration does not recommend holding large-scale celebrations for Knowledge Day in high-risk areas. This is because the enemy has been attacking the Kyiv region almost continuously for the past five days.

Each educational institution should decide independently whether to hold celebratory events, taking into account the security situation in its community. If celebrations are held, they are advised to be organized directly in shelters or to ensure that the number of attendees does not exceed the shelter’s capacity.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration also emphasized the importance of avoiding large gatherings of children, parents, and school staff.

Russian strikes on the Kyiv region injured four people.

Earlier that day, on August 30, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with strike drones. Explosions were heard in the capital, and air defense forces engaged enemy targets.

Residents of the village of Mila and surrounding settlements were urged not to approach suspicious objects or debris following the Russian strike and subsequent detonation.
