Successor to Yermak: it has become known who will lead the President’s Office
Discussions continue in Ukraine regarding the candidate for the position of Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
According to UA.News sources in the Cabinet of Ministers, the candidacy of Mykhailo Fedorov is currently being considered for the role of Head of the President’s Office.
According to the information, the appointment of Minister of Digital Transformation Fedorov is almost finalized.
It was previously reported that the ruling party continues to discuss candidates for the position of Head of the President’s Office as well as other posts planned to be changed as part of the government’s restructuring.
It is also possible that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine will be replaced. According to the source, the position is expected to be offered to Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi. Incidentally, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced today, December 1, that he has returned to Kyiv.
It should be recalled that Andriy Yermak has submitted his resignation from the position of Head of the President’s Office. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this in his evening address.
Before that, NABU and SAP conducted searches at the office of Andriy Yermak in the government quarter on the morning of November 28.
