The National Bank devalued the hryvnia against the dollar on July 23

The National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar for Thursday, July 23, at 44.77 UAH/USD. Thus, the Ukrainian currency weakened by 2 kopecks compared to the previous banking day.

At the same time, the hryvnia strengthened against the euro. The official exchange rate for the European currency was set at 51.07 UAH/EUR, which is 3 kopecks less than the previous day.

On the interbank foreign exchange market, as of 4:00 p.m., the hryvnia was trading at 44.76/44.79 UAH/USD against the dollar and 51.07/51.08 UAH/EUR against the euro.

As a reminder, the National Bank of Ukraine set the official exchange rates for Tuesday, July 22. The U.S. dollar rose in value again, while the euro’s exchange rate remained virtually unchanged.
