A criminal group that was selling drugs to military personnel was dismantled in Lviv

Law enforcement officers exposed and detained nine members of an organized criminal group who were distributing narcotic and psychotropic substances on a large scale throughout Ukraine, including to military personnel. The special operation was carried out with the assistance of the Military Law Enforcement Service, National Police officers, and the “KORD” special forces unit.

The investigation began with the identification of a military servicemember who, in January 2026, left his unit (SZCH) without authorization and was found to be involved in the distribution of prohibited substances. The criminals sold drugs through “stashes” in the Lviv, Kyiv, and Sumy regions, and also mailed them throughout the country.

During 11 searches, nearly 4.7 kg of drugs, approximately 240 pre-prepared stashes, cryptocurrency (over 65,000 USDT), cash in various currencies totaling the equivalent of over 1.5 million UAH, four vehicles, and various equipment. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

This was reported in a police statement on Telegram.

As a reminder, a drug ring with a turnover of up to 30 million was uncovered in Kryvyi Rih.

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with foreign partners, conducted a large-scale special operation that resulted in the dismantling of a supply chain for methamphetamine and cocaine to several European countries. As part of the operation, 20 members of a transnational criminal group were detained.
